New AD-P Special with Amadrill + terminal

Designed for the new series of the AD-P Special 750 and 1250 pneumatic seed drill Amazone now offers Amadrill+, a new operator terminal for the electric metering drive system.

During operation Amadrill+ monitors all important functions, serves as a hectare counter and allows the driver the in-cab actuation of additional functions of the seed drill, including the control of tramline and pre-emergence marker. In addition it enables the adjustment of the seed rate in steps from choice whilst on the move and the creation of intermittent tramlines. 

Another important factor is the automation of calibration tests. Especially for contractors it is of interest that the system allows the programming of different tramline rhythms. In combination with Amadrill+ and the electric metering drive system the star wheel in the rear of the machine is only necessary for the safe distance detection. Otherwise, at machines with mechanical metering system, the star wheel serves as metering drive. 

Both new series of the AD-P Special pneumatic seed drill differ from their hopper volume of 750 and 1,250 litres. In addition to the previous programme of equipment both machines can be equipped with the new RoTeC Control roll disc coulters and the new roller harrow. Wedge ring roller, RoTeC Control roll disc coulters and the exact or roller harrow are ideally matched in the RDS Roller Drive System resulting in an even still more precise placement and embedding of the seed. Row spacings of 12.5 or 16.5 cm are available at random.

Designed for operation on the AD-P Special, Amazone now offers the new AMADRILL+ terminal for controlling the electric metering drive system.
